Differences between the upgrade and full versions of Windows 7
- Upgrade Version & Full Version shared the same features..
- Upgrade Version required previous OS such as Win XP or Win Vista installed first before you can install the Win 7..
- Full Version can just install on a new hard disk with no OS on it..
Remarks :
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, & Windows 2000 cannot be upgrade to Win 7 by using the Upgrade Version.. Only by using Full Version with clean install do the tricks...
Differences between upgrade installation & (custom) clean installation
- Upgrade Installation will just replaces your current windows to Win 7, all your settings, files & programs from your previous windows will still available in Win 7.. So no more software reinstall is needed..
- Custom Installation ( Clean Installation) will replaces your current windows to Win 7, all your settings, files & programs from your previous windows will be left behind.. That's why they called it as clean install - start from nothing...
Upgrade from Windows XP
- Backup is needed because only clean installation is available.. Everything will be wiped out, then here's the Win 7...
- Only full version of Win 7 is suitable for you..
