It’s been a real slow news day today, so I thought I’d post an older story about an ongoing promotion by DiGi to push its broadband service.  It’s for an HP Mini 110, packaged with the DiGi Explore broadband service, but with a couple of twists:

1. instead of the fair usage policy of 10Gb bandwidth consumption per month, the user gets 16Gb, an increase of 60%!
2. the user can pay for the cost of the netbook over the life of a compulsory 24 month contract, at RM 138 per month.
